Dodging Bullets

I’ve been dodging bullets

all my life 

they can’t hit a moving target and

God knows they tried 


I got good at knowing

where to hide 

it was an escape into the dark

recesses of my mind

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday Nights It was  a Wednesday night  they were going  to make things right  A promise of love, respect, and hope that night  but it quickly devolved  into a fight  Alfred’s theory  fell into the void  opposite theory  posited by Freud  Ultimately isolation and a eventual slip  Maybe it could’ve been avoided cause  you don’t analyze your friends Freud couldn’t  lend his ear to bend so it meant that the society came to an end It was  a Wednesday night  things  Didn’t go right  Alfred’s theory  fell into the void  opposite theory  posited by Freud  Wednesday nights  came to an end  Lesson Learned  you don’t analyze your friends
