Kitty

Kitty was a woman on the street

she kept on begging

please somebody help me

Nobody helped her

and she couldn’t understand why 

no one helped her

and she ultimately died

No one stepped up to help

because they thought somebody else

would do it

helping someone in despair 

There’s something to it 

no one got involved 

they didn’t react 

it’s now called the 

Bystander Effect 

If we don’t engage

we will only know defeat 

Case in point poor poor Kitty

it’s called the 

bystander effect 

our duty is to help 

if we don’t we are all Derelict
